About

Our family-owned business is based off the backbone of Billy Myers. In 1978 Billy opened “Myers Farm Meats” for processing deer and custom cattle for the locals. A fellow hunter and farmer to the area, Billy created an operation that reflected his high standards and expectations for meat processing.

Maintaining those core values for business, Renegade’s Meat Processing began operations in 2019 and expanded the custom services of deer and cattle processing to include that of swine, sheep, and goats.

In 2020 the facility underwent construction upgrades to accommodate the goal of approval for Federal Inspection and on-site retail operations.

We are proud to say that in February of 2025, Renegade’s Meat Processing achieved the goal of being USDA certified to process Cattle.

May of 2025 Renegade’s On-site Retail Operations were started up. Featuring Renegade’s Cattle Company Beef that is locally raised, grass fed, and grain finished.

We strive to maintain a clean, temperature controlled facility, and employee vacuum sealing of the finished products to support the integrity of the meat cuts.

Renegades Meat Processing offers Custom Processing of Deer, Swine, Cattle, Sheep, and Goats.

All finished custom products are labeled “Not For Resale”.

Federal Inspection Services

Renegade’s Meat Processing offers Federal Inspection for Cattle Only. This service provides the customer with options for how they may handle/sell their finished products. Contact Renegade’s Meat Processing for further information or to schedule you cattle for processing.

RETAIL

Renegade’s Meat Processing now offers an on-site Retail Store Front featuring Renegade’s Cattle Company Beef. RCC beef is pasture raised and grain finished. You can’t get much more local when one of the pastures is across the road!

In addition to great meat options we have teamed up with other local business to offer access to purchasing items such as: Farm Fresh Eggs, Steel Cattle Blend Seasoning, Cool Honey Bees Honey, limited locally grown vegetables as well as Working Cows chocolate milk, cheese, and butter.

Everything you need to know before bringing in your animal—or picking up your order.

  • The animal that you bring in is the meat you take home with you. Each animal is tagged with your name and phone number and is kept with your animal through the entire process.
  • Because freezer space is in high demand, we kindly ask that you make sure to pick up your product within 5 days of us letting you know it is ready.
  • Each package is labeled for your freezer.
  • Each packaging is vacuum sealed.
  • Deer Hunters – You must game check your deer before leaving it with your processor. The app is called Outdoor AL.
  • We process deer for individuals that bring in a deer. We are unable to sell individual packages of deer since we are the processor providing a service. If a hunter does not want their deer or if we have individuals that do not pick up their processed deer, we can call someone on our waiting list to see if they would like to pay the processing fees for the meat.
  • We charge by the carcass weight (Weight after the skin, guts, head, etc. have been removed).
    Cutting is a timely process to ensure that we save the most meat possible from your animal.
